Your support will foster art education in our community and help sustain museum exhibitions and programming.
Help us fulfill our mission of integrating art into the lives of people in a way that engages, inspired, and builds community by providing high-quality exhibits and art education programs that instill a lifelong love of the arts.
Here's your chance to purchase a gift of art for someone you love. Fill out the form below and we will contact you to confirm the details of your gift (e.g., the correct name and/or message on an engraved brick, or which Art-to-Go series you'd like for your child's or grandchild's class, etc.).
Thank you for your interest in donating art to The Riverside Art Museum’s (RAM's) permanent collection. Though RAM has some areas of specialty in our collection we are willing to consider any work from noteworthy artists.
In order to consider your donation of artwork(s), please submit a written proposal to be considered by our curatorial staff and collections committee.
What to include in a proposal:
Once we receive your complete proposal, RAM staff will carefully consider your offer and make a decision based on criteria, such as: its relevance; how well it fits with plans for the RAM Collection; whether it is in good condition; and whether we can adequately care for it in the future. Not all donation can be accepted.
Depending on the unique considerations of each proposal, it can take anywhere from three to six months for us to respond.
Please do not bring objects to the Museum. We will be in touch if we need to view the item(s) in person. Note that we cannot offer appraisals nor can we recommend appraisers. For these questions, please visit the American Society of Appraisers website or call ASA at 800-272-8258.

"The Riverside Art Museum is the crown jewel of Riverside from its Julia Morgan-designed Mediterranean revival architecture to its 60-year history of outstanding educational programming and exhibitions. The Riverside Art Museum is the only Riverside museum that is not supported by city or state funds. As such, it has had to be creative and resilient. It has been able to survive because of the generous support of its donors over the years.
As a second generation volunteer to the museum, it's a passion and privilege for me to be able to not only donate my time, but also to name the Riverside Art Museum as a beneficiary of my estate."
-- Sarah Smith
Planned giving is the transfer of assets to a designated non-profit during your lifetime or as part of an estate plan. This forward-thinking approach often offers tax benefits either now or in the future.
Planned giving is easy to do and you don't have to be wealthy to do it. Whether it is naming your favorite charity in your will or trust for a modest amount, or a gift of house and property, there is an easy option that is right for you.
By helping to ensure the sustainability of the Riverside Art Museum, generations to come will benefit from your gift. Your support will be long remembered and will serve as an inspiration to others.
The Riverside Art Museum recognizes and honors those who acknowledge the museum with a future gift through a bequest, life insurance, or trust arrangement - or an outright gift to the Riverside Art Museum endowment. Naming and dedication opportunities may be considered for gifts of $10,000 or more.
If you believe in the power of art to inspire and engage our diverse community and want to ensure the Riverside Art Museum's continuing role as the leading visual arts museum in our region, please join the Riverside Art Museum's Legacy Circle program for planned giving.
The Riverside Art Museum is a non-profit art museum with a small staff, so we depend on our volunteers to help us serve our community and fulfill our mission. If you are interested in volunteering at the front desk, in our Blue Door Museum Store, gallery sitting, helping out during events and receptions, etc., please fill out the form below and our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you shortly.
Shop in the museum's store and know that the profits go to the art museum and to the local artist who made the item you purchased.
Book a special event here at our beautiful Julia Morgan-designed building where 100% of the profits go to RAM.

Participate in Provident Bank's Community Partnership Program by naming the Riverside Art Museum as your charity of choice.
By opening and linking your account(s) at Provident Bank to RAM, the Bank will take the aggregate total of all members' deposits to calculate an annual donation. The annual donation has the potential to increase each year as more members participate. The higher the balance in your Provident Bank account, the greater the donation amount RAM will receive. We would like to remind you that your account information will be confidential and the donation will come from Provident Bank, NOT from your account.
Ready to help RAM earn a donation? Open and link your new and/or existing accounts at Provident Bank by simply contacting Shari Cremers, Branch Vice President, at 951.682.3272. Sometimes the best way to support the arts and what we do is to simply tell your friends and family about us.
