All About Acrylics

If you want to try acrylic painting or have some experience in acrylic painting, then this is the class for you! Starting with basic color mixing and advancing to color theory, you will be taught all aspects of color theory and how to use it to enhance your work. Color theory will be taught using only the three primary colors combined with white, black, burnt umber, and burnt sienna acrylic paints. Value and contrast will be addressed as well. Many techniques will be taught, including but not limited to, wetbrush, dry brush, layering, stippling, highlighting, and shadowing. Other techniques will be added as your paintings progress.
