PAN - Photo Artist Network

Photography is more than a snapshot. It is an art.

The Riverside Art Museum is pleased to offer photography enthusiasts, of any level, from new comer amateur to long time professional, the opportunity to learn, expand, grow and market their photographic works of art.

Members enjoy field trips, special projects and exchanging ideas with each other as well as monthly guest speakers from all areas of photography. Meet experts on shooting skills, computer techniques, lighting, marketing, etc.

The Photo Artist Network (PAN) recognizes all forms of artwork that has a camera as its origin. They encourage exploration and experimentation of multiple means of expression: Straight Photography, Digital Manipulation, or Multi-Media applications.

In less than one year of existence, the PAN group has completed a major assignment for Riverside County. The pictures shot buy all the members will be used for publications and displays in county literature and facilities.

The county was so pleased with the results, that they have already asked the group to work on another project.

The PAN group also has many exhibitions throughout the area and in some cases offers the member's work for sale to the public.

You're welcome to visit the group at its monthly meetings (the third Thursday of each month) at the Riverside Art Museum building.
