Carl Miller Multi Media Collaboration

Thank you to everyone who attended and collaborated with Carl Miller, Riverside Art Museum, and Inlandia!

"I attended the March 24th interactive event with Carl Miller. It was amazing...there were approximately 40 peole there, most on the youngish side, but a good mix (several junior faculty from UCR) and EVERYONE participated in the spirit and creation of drawings and poetry. Mr. Miller worked and talked with everyone, and the art that was created ranged from collaboratively built pieces to individual writings that were elegant and moving. I understand that the pieces will be preserved and shared and I think it will be worth the effort. Hats off to taking chances with an event like this!" -- Kathleen Bocian

Sip and See Luncheon

On February 23, 2011, Riverside Art Museum celebrated the designation of its Ross R. DeVean and Bobbie Powell Galleries as a showcase for the museum’s Permanent Collection. The occasion was marked with an Asian-themed luncheon and curatorial tour of the first exhibit from the Permanent Collection, Floating Worlds. In attendance were Ross R. DeVean’s daughter and granddaughter, Barbara Wood-Pafe and Jean Wood, as well as former RAM executive directors, Mary Alice Cline and Bobbie Powell.

Arts & Craft Beers 2010: YOU helped Julia's kids

Cheers to everyone who attended and sponsored ARTery's Arts & Craft Beers event to support art education!

If you weren't here, then you missed out on an exciting evening under RAM's roof where attendees were treated to art-a-fair foods, great Dale Bros. beer, and fun art activities for all!

Best of all, your generous donations will help fund various classes, programs, and activities for the children and the young-at-heart who look to the Riverside Art Museum as a gateway to understanding and appreciating the arts.
