Master puppeteer Nicole Cloeren again joins beloved storyteller Karen Rae Kraut for a powerful mix of interactive storytelling and puppetry. Karen's stories and Nicole's puppets will open your eyes to new ways of interpreting the world and open your hearts to a powerful form of play through these universal stories of friendship and understanding.
October: "La Mariposa” (Mexico) 2 p.m.–3 p.m.

November:"Crocodile and Hen" (Democratic Republic of the Congo) 2 p.m.–3 p.m.
Crocodile wants to eat that juicy little Hen, but Hen and others finally convince him that they are truly brother and sister.
For December's First Sunday program as participants will learn how to make realistic mountains and trees by using pencil and pen, and how to create surreal skies with watercolor, as well. Join us from 1 p.m.–2 p.m., as RAM Artist-Instructor Raven Johnson takes over RAM's Instagram (@riversideartmuseum) to teach you how to make a magical winter wonderland on paper!
First Sundays is a seasonal series of free family programs featuring different activities for children and teens at seven different location in downtown: Riverside Metropolitan Museum, Mission Inn Museum, Riverside Art Museum, Riverside Public Library, UCR ArtsBlock, Riverside Fox Theater Foundation, and the Center for Social Justice and Civil Liberties!
All locations are open free and all activities are free and open to the public.
