Tours
Museum Tour
The Riverside Art Museum presents over 20 exhibitions each year. The Education Department coordinates guided tours for visitors in an accessible and engaging format. If you have a group of 5 or more children or adults interested in forming a tour, we will try to organize a tour to fit your schedule. Guided tours of the museum's building and exhibitions are currently available only to groups. Some tours cover the museum as a whole and others concentrate on specific themes catered to the visiting group. Tours last 30 to 45 minutes, and are $5 per visitor. To arrange a tour, please call the museum. School tours for students in grades 1-12 are scheduled through the Youth Education department.
Brown Bag Art Tour and Discussion
The Museum offers special lunchtime tours monthly in conjunction with exhibitions currently on view. Participants enjoy a curator-led tour followed by group lunch and a discussion with museum staff in the Education Center. Tour attendees bring their own bag lunch or purchase from the restaurant. The Museum provides refreshments and dessert. Brown Bag Art Tour offers participants a behind-the-scenes peek into the curatorial process and an in-depth look at our exhibitions. To register or arrange for a group attendance, or for more information, please contact the museum.
