Beth Yeager, RAM’s Adult and Youth Art Educator, has taught elementary school in Riverside for over a decade. She is a University of California, Riverside (UCR) graduate with both Multiple Subjects and Special Education Teaching Credentials. She has a longstanding involvement with many Riverside arts organizations, a love for community, and a strong desire to bring art and art education to the entire community. “I love being in a classroom full of youth who are exploring, discovering, and creating!” Beth brings her love of teaching and her passion for art to RAM’s Education programs!

Bob Adams is passionate about capturing life's precious moments through photography. As an instructor, Bob finds it very fulfilling to share what he has learned over the years about digital photography, workflow, image enhancement, and most importantly, the sharing of your images with others. “Every time we press the shutter,” he says, “we have created an original image regardless of the camera we are using. Learning to use your camera and proper photography skills open each of us up to much more creative images.”

Chick Curtis is an award-winning Riverside artist and art instructor. He works in a number of different mediums and has shown his work throughout the Inland Empire. “I have an intuitive child-like curiosity to explore which compliments the maturity and skill I have developed as an adult.” Chick is looking forward to sharing his talents with RAM's art students.

Cheryl Magellen is originally from San Diego county. She now resides and teaches on-going drawing classes in Southern Oregon from April through November. She works in Charcoal, Graphite, Pastel, and Oil, and has won awards in many genres. She graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Chico State University, attended the SO Art Academy, and continues to study with internationally noted, contemporary painters. She is represented by Gallery One at the Museum in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Connie Lynn Pico is an artist, artisan, instructor, and designer. As a muralist of 24 years, she has created over 50 murals that grace many homes, restaurants, and schools in Orange, San Diego, and Riverside Counties. Now that she has retired from the profession of Muralist, her medium of choice is Acrylic and Watercolors. Connie Lynn is an Artist-Member of Riverside Art Museum and the Corona Art Association. She teaches privately in her home studio and is an instructor of Acrylic and Watercolor adult art classes for RAM. She also teaches many of the summer children’s art camps at RAM, creating wonderful curriculums as she goes. Connie Lynn is an instructor for RAM's Art-to-Go program, bringing fine art to children in our public schools. “The children are such a joy. I meet a new group many times a week. I couldn’t ask for more blessings." Her background is in Interior Design. Connie Lynn was awarded “Outstanding Interior Designer” Chaffey College Graduating class of 1980. “I have always been interested in painting subjects that could be a moment of beauty in anyone’s home & life, anywhere in the world." You can observe her love of the juxtaposition of light and dark value, elegant yet  rustic, and always sweetly romantic. Her work been accepted in the Dos Lagos juried show. The Riverside Y.W.C.A. has presented a one-woman show in her honor.

Laura Ryan has been teaching workshops in the western United States for the past seven years, most recently at the premier art retreat, Art Unraveled, in Phoenix, AZ.  She enjoys using ordinary objects and turning them into works of art and is especially fond of using items from the hardware store.  Her jewelry and other art have been featured in Cloth Paper Scissors magazine, Somerset Studio, Somerset Gallery, Printmaking and Mixed Media and Pages magazine.  Laura believes that creative energy belongs to all and one only needs to find the right catalyst to begin the creative journey.

Laura Souder has been a professional jewelry designer and ceramic artist for over 30 years. Her understated style is simple yet elegant. Her one-of-a-kind and limited edition Art Wear is a careful balance of hues, contrast and proportion, with thoughtful attention paid to subtle detail. Nature is an endless source of inspiration for her. Her spirit is renewed as she enjoys her garden, trees, birds and wildlife. Her artwork reflects this connection with nature, from its garden theme to its organic shapes. She chooses to use unexpected materials together in unusual color combinations. Her materials of choice include natural stones, glass, porcelain and raku ceramics, precious metal clay, polymer clay, wire, rubber, silk, cotton and leather. She has been developing her current collection of original watches, unique necklaces, since 1998. Laura is also a ceramic artist, creating original handcrafted porcelain jewelry since 1978. She has sold and exhibited her porcelain nationwide in all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands at galleries, boutiques, gift shops, departments stores, as well as nationally recognized art and craft shows. Laura is a lifetime artist, trained at Rhode Island School of Design. Her formula for success is to do what you love! That spirit is felt in every beautiful piece.
