PAN - Photo Artists Network
Photography is more than a snapshot; it is an art.
The Riverside Art Museum (RAM) is pleased to offer photography enthusiasts, of any level, from newcomer amateur to longtime professionals, the opportunity to learn, expand, grow, and market their photographic works of art.
Members enjoy field trips, special projects, and exchanging ideas with each other, as well as monthly guest speakers from all areas of photography. Meet experts in shooting skills, computer techniques, lighting, marketing, etc.
The Photo Artists Network (PAN) recognizes all forms of artwork that has a camera as its origin. They encourage exploration and experimentation of multiple means of expression: Straight Photography, Digital Manipulation, and Multi-Media applications.
The PAN group has completed major assignments for Riverside County. The pictures shot by all the members will be used for publications and displays in county literature and facilities.
The PAN group also has many exhibitions throughout the area, and in some cases, offers member work for sale to the public.
You're welcome to visit the group at its monthly meetings (the second Thursday of each month) at RAM.
